I love to collaborate with other authors, blogs, magazines, organizations, online communities, and publishers. being able to spread the Gospel in a variety of forms is what I’m here for!
on top of blogging, I love to write devotionals, journaling challenges, and hopefully one day my first book. keep reading to learn more about some of my favorite things to do as a writer, as well as how to start the conversation about collaborating! I can’t wait to hear from you!
my favorite things
writing blog posts is fun and all, but that’s not the only thing I do as a writer.
when I first started my career as an author, I was writing for a women’s magazine called Ezer Magazine. I loved writing for them, but funding became an issue and I had to look elsewhere for work.
as I got connected to more and more writers and people in the industry, I started gaining further experience in other areas of writing. one of my favorite ways to write is by creating short devotionals, such as one published for the international women’s community, She the Roar.
Following this first devotional, I published a 31-day journaling challenge and devotional for an international author named Simcha Natan. It was then that I realized I really love creating content that people can use over and over again!
how I feel called
three years ago, I felt called to write my first book.
but friend, I literally had no idea how difficult this was going to prove to be.
you may have heard me say this before, but I have started and stopped this same book many more times than I care to admit. it discouraged me and felt like way too big of a mountain for even God to handle.
while my book still isn’t done, and I’m not 100% sure when it will be finished, I know this is still a calling from the Lord. seeing how much He has blessed this blog and how He uses every single word I write to bless others, I know this is what I’m meant to do.
